Initial Script

INT. UNKNOWN PLACE  

WE OPEN To the sound of heavy footsteps. The camera follows the footsteps of  

a man in black shoes until he stops. We then see a light switch illuminated by a faint light coming from outside. The light reveals a man restrained to a chair with a table in front of him. 

Jaide  

How's your day, so would you like a Mc Donald's Bacon, egg and cheese Biscuit to warm you up 

Vedant

I’ll take that offer but, with a side of fries and Sprite 

Match Cut: 

Jaide pushes the food to Vedant's side of the table 

Vedant 

Well first before I start eating this, What's your guy's name 

Jaide 

Well, we’re Doppelgangers  

Cut To: Movie Title Card 

INT. SUBURBAN HOME – BEDROOM – MORNING 

Vedant getting ready for work at the police station 

INT. SUBURBAN HOME – KITCHEN – MORNING 

Gets some coffee ready, He pours it in a cup that the camera zooms in on. Vedant then sits down on the table. 

MATCH CUT:  

INT. POLICE STATION – OFFICE – AFTERNOON 

Vedant is sitting at his desk sipping on his coffee when suddenly a case file with the words NULL written at the top of it. 

Vedant’s Boss 

We have a New Case for you it's about an assassin, we suspect them to be in a pair or group. Will you work on it Oh legendary detective with a 100% solve rate. 

Vedant 

I’ll be right on it 

Vedant handshakes the boss 

CUT TO: 

INT. UNKNOWN PLACE 

Jaide sitting at a table in the dark with faint light from the outside. He picks up his phone and calls his brother Josh 

Jaide 

(Into phone) 

They’re on to us, get your things ready, we got a job on our hands. 

Cut To: 

INT. SUBURBAN HOME – KITCHEN -NIGHT 

Josh is getting ready for this job. He puts on his uniform, slides open a drawer, and it reveals a gun. Josh takes the gun and leaves. 

INT. POLICE STATION BASEMENT 

Vedant is looking for more information on this assassin. Combing thought drawers and drawers of papers until he finally gets a clue. 

INT. UNKNOWN PLACE 

Jaide 

So that's how it went down now that I’ve explained it, any last words? 

Vedant 

Guess I keep my 100% solve rate 

Close-up on Vedant's head, camera sees that there are 2 guns pointing at the back of his head.

I read over the script looking for errors. Nobody will be able to relate to this, and this will draw the audience into the story.
